Literally the only reason I don’t like Destroy.

Seriously after all that time of Joker standing with you and EDI discovering herself and saving the crew, you repay them both by killing EDI and probably crushing Joker.

I guess it depends on the Shepard, but my canon one would never sacrifice so much just so that they get to live.

So, the Extended Cut…

It was alright. Spoilers underneath the ‘read more’:

So apparently with the new ME3 DLC

You need to make sure you have a final save before the attack on the Illusive Man’s base. Reblog this so everyone knows that they need to have a save in order to activate the DLC.

before the attack on the Illusive Man’s base? Crap, I don’t know if I have a save that old. :/ I’ll have to look.

The game boots you back before the Cerberus Base after you watch through the endings/Space Grandpa. Just click ‘resume’ after the DLC mission and it will put you before the attack.

Just for anyone who thinks they don’t have a save that old ^_^

Mass Effect Extended Cut Coming On Tuesday

I’m predicting either massive love for BioWare or the rage of an entire fanbase…

And judging by the interview, I can’t help but predict the latter D8

Day Nineteen: Your perfect ending to the series.

Anything is better than what we got.

But seriously? I’d like an ending that’s happy. Like, Star-Wars-Medal-Ceremony-unicorns-and-rainbows happy. Well, it wouldn’t be like that considering the amount of people that died, but it should still be an option.

SPOILERS AFTER THIS POINT:

There should also be a sad ending, an ending where you fail, etc etc. But when I found out that it wasn’t possible to even get a happy ending, it pissed me off even more. The closest thing to ‘happy’ I guess would be the whole EDI/Joker thing in Synthesis or Shepard taking that breath at the end of Destroy. Either way, though, the crew’s stranded on some unknown planet with the relays out, so that kind of… sucks.

The other two games in the series both have the potential to end on a triumphant note that’s actually… happy. ME1 is triumphant, ME2 you can get out triumphant, etc. They should have based the ME3 ending on the style of ME2 - I’m not sure why they didn’t when all the potential for awesome was sitting right next to them the entire time.

So I got a GameStop newsletter this morning…

If even you’re saying that the ending is bad, I’m pretty sure it’s time to change your ending =P
